Ever wonder how delicious and nutritious frozen and freeze-dried fruits and berries are prepared to promote healthy eating? Would you like to learn how a family’s business passion became the foundation of leaving a legacy for love? Join Gina Dang and me on Wednesday, July 31st, from 10 to 11 A.M. Central Time U.S. Our conversation is about her remarkable life and her family’s farming contribution to potentially transform the Australian Agricultural sector with innovation and excellence.
Gina is the founder and CEO of Gina’s Table and General Manager of SSS Strawberries. It is a family farm, and is a family-driven, food-loving, future-oriented entrepreneur. Her journey began when her family emigrated from Vietnam to Australia in 1990 in a small boat: Gina, her parents, Tan Dang and Gem Nguyen, and her brothers and sisters. She co-founded SSS Strawberries with her six siblings. It is one of Australia’s largest and most innovative strawberry farms, with over 300 acres of land and 350 employees. Their passion and hard work led them to win the International Company of the Year recognition in 2022 in London and the Distinguished Australian Family Business Award in 2023.
Gina’s love for food led her to launch Gina’s Table, a new food brand offering frozen and freeze-dried fruit products made in Australia's first and largest state-of-the-art facility. It is a 4,000-square-meter, $15 million freeze-dried facility. Gina’s Table Products, freeze-dried Strawberries, Merries, and Happles have already gained popularity among international consumers who appreciate quality and convenience.
As a philanthropist, Gina cares about making a positive difference globally and supports charities and foundations nationally and internationally. Her family established the SSS Foundation, which aims to improve the lives of people in need.
