Feelings Friday @ Five - Coming Out of Many Closets

I am a queer, Latinx, inter-religious theologian, future clergyperson, conversion therapy survivor, religious deconstructionist, and spiritual healing worker for those living with religious trauma. I walk with those hurting and help them turn their wounds into wisdom. I am a work in progress who honors other works in progress. I create safe spaces for those to explore all the questions about spirituality. I am not a hoarder or owner of answers. I try to make spirituality, faith, and the Divine relatable while breaking down the walls of religious elitism. My work merges my lived experience as a Bronx-raised Latinx kid together with my theological education that is sprinkled with dashes of Buddhist, indigenous, and non-religious practices. And with all this said, I also know that none of this matters if I don't lead with love and compassion. I stand in solidarity with those who are just trying to make sense of this world.
