Civilization Jihad Awareness with Paul Sutliff

To prepare for the future we must know our past. To face the present we must have prepared by learning our past. This is why news regarding jihad and terrrorism is all important today!  News and current events here and abroad are all important in preparing us to face tomorrow's jihad.

This is why we will be talking about what happened in Beirut 35 years ago! 

The beginning of my second year in college another devastating attack rocked the world. This event killed 241 young men of the US military and 58 of the French military when two suicide bombers plunged trucks filled with explosives into the two buildings. Many years later I met one survivor. He was struggling with “why- why was I left and so many of my brothers left alive?” He shared that he was blown through a wall in the blast. I did not understand then what a sacrifice this young man had made for his fellow Americans because of Islam. The Iranian government was held liable for the attack. 

In April 2016 a federal court ruled that 2 billion in frozen Iranian assets would be turned over to the victims’ families. This was awarded while President Obama was wrangling to return most of the frozen assets to Iran. According to Iran they received $100 billion some of which Secretary of State John Kerry admitted would end up funding terrorism.
