On this week’s show I am going to focus on two different areas.
First, we are going to look at the Bible and one of the greatest events recorded in the Old Testament. The very Old Testament that Muslims are instructed to follow – the Torah – the first five books written by “Prophet” Moses. We will be examining the Exodus. In the book of Exodus Christians and Jews are taught that Moses led the Israelite slaves out of Egypt. Many have thought that this event took place during the the Kingdom of Ramesses II around 1250 BC. The problem with this narrative is there is virtually no evidence for it. However, if you were to back this event up 200 years to the Middle Kingdom (1450 BC) there are numerous indicators that can only be explained by a Semitic people in the Nile Delta during this time period.
Secondly, will need to get to the Paul v. Muhammad commentary. I keep mentioning this but never seem to get around to the information. I am going to try to make a point of completing it this week!
Shalom - Eric
