I am very excited to talk this week with Felicia Goodson. In addition to having a son entering Mercer University to play football, and another who hopes to be on Broadway in a few years, she is also the mother of Iowa Hawkeye RB Tyler Goodson, who may become the best RB we see in the Black & Gold for a long time to come. She is also starting a non-profit group to aid minority athletes as they navigate the sports world at the colege level and beyond. I look forward to her thoughts on what colleges, pro teams, and yes, fans, can do to help make for a smooth transition. I also look forward to hearing what the mother of an elite college athlete worries and stresses about when her child is off to college over 800 miles from home. Is he eating right? Getting enough sleep? Staying injury-free? Oh, yeah, is he staying on top of course work? Please join me in welcoming Felicia Goodson, 6p Eastern, Wed. 7/15/2020!
