Tuesday 8/11/2020 the B1G presidents voted to cancell the Fall 2020 sports season, "including football", adding that as if in afterthought. Football is what drives Big Ten sports. Without football, there's no swimming and diving, no gymnastics, no women's basketball, or frankly, ANY women's sports. How far-reaching is this? How bad will the ultimate effect be? Bad. The ACC, Big XII and SEC are all going ahead. And it will give them a leg up for the near and distant future. And, boy, is it political! I'll discuss that tonight, 6p Eastern, Wednesday 8/12/2020.
