Conservative Casual Friday--Jay W. Richards Examines COVID-19's Price of Panic

Catholic University professor Jay W. Richards has recently co-authored an important new book, The Price of Panic:  How the Tyranny of Experts Turned a Pandemic into a Catastrophe.  In it, he and past Conservative Casual Friday guest, statistician William Briggs, along with Biola University biology professor Douglas Axe, examine how nations worldwide devastated their economies by overreacting to the COVID-19 pandemic.  Contrary to past pandemic practice, rather than focusing on protection for specific populations particularly threatened by COVID-19, like the elderly, global leaders forced whole societies into ruinous lockdown regimes.  Richards will join show host Andrew E. Harrod to discuss how this COVID-19 cure is worse than the disease, what would be better responses for future pandemic dangers, and other matters.
