Twitter. Facebook. YouTube. Amazon. Apple. What do they have in common, besides being quasi-monopolies, manipulators of information, and anti-competitive? Well, they're also anti-First Amendment, and anti-free speech. The first three have banned President Trump from using them, while the fourth has shut down access to its servers for a social media company that caters to free speech, including free speech for conservatives. In Sports, the NFL playoffs are underway with a couple surprises, and play resumes this weekend. Among the teams getting knocked out the first weekend are the Pittsburgh Steelers, a team that started 11-0 before limping to the finish line. In NCAA Football, Alabama and Ohio State started out fairly even Monday night. Then, just like that, Alabama went into the locker with a 35-17 halftime lead, then coasted in the second half to win, 52-24. We'll talk a bit about how the wheels fell off for Ohio State. Finally, I'll talk about companies that have made statements about withdrawing support for GOP candidates, or political donations in general, in the wake of the disruption of the Stop the Steal rally in Washington, DC last week.
