President Joe Biden's new administration raises questions about what his policy towards Iran will be, particularly given his willingness to return to the 2015 Joint Comphrehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) or nuclear deal with Iran, whcih President Donald Trump abandoned in 2018. Biden has also raised concerns with the appointments of Robert Malley as Special Envoy to Iran and Maher Bitar as Senior Director for Intelligence at the National Security Council. Malley was one of President Barack Obama's lead negotiators for the deal, while Bitar has a long history as an anti-Israel activist. Sarah Stern, founder and president of the Endowment for Middle East Truth (EMET), will join show host Andrew E. Harrod to discuss these issues. Does any American return to the JCPOA make sense? How far away from a nuclear weapon is Iran? What do Malley and Bitar mean for American Middle East policies, including concerning Israel? Stern will answer these and other questions.
