Jennifer Roback Morse, founder of the Ruth Institute and author of the book The Sexual State: How Elite Ideologies are Destroying Lives and Why the Church Was Right All Along, joins show host Andrew E. Harrod to examine the dangerous Equality Act. Currently under consideration in the Senate after passage in the House of Representatives, and supported by President Joe Biden, the act would extend sex discrimination laws to cover Sexual Orientation and Gender Idenity (SOGI). This includes, for example, mandating that males with gender dysphoria may use female restrooms and participate in female sports. The act contains no religious freedom exemptions, and would thus also encompass religious institutions like church-based schools. Among other matters, Morse will discuss what devastating impacts the act would have on schools, religous institutions, and families. Moreover, what can voters do to stop the Equality Act and/or limit its damage?
