Wyoming and Georgia are stepping up efforts to combat Dem-lead election fraud by strengthening requirements for both in-person and absentee/mail voting. Arizona has already been before the SCOTUS to defend its election bills, which lower courts had overturned. By all accounts, things looked good for sane election procedures. And of course, former POTUS Jimmy Carter whining to the AP about Georgia's pending legislature pretty much tells you it's sane, legit, and much-needed.
In Sports, Iowa Hawkeye Luka Garza is again the B1G POTY, and also the Sporting News National POTY. And, on what appeared to be a whim, the Hawkeyes are retiring his number 55. However, that didn't sit well with a former player and his family, who feel slighted that the player's father, previously the career scoring leader, has not had his number retired. But there are good reasons for it NOT to be retired. Elsewhere, Les Miles is out as Kansas Jayhawks football coach. Why? For something in a report at his previous stop, LSU. From 2013. Yes, 2013. And of course, several schools have already stopped Spring football activities...for COVID! Seriously, can we stop using this? And in COVID relief, a grand 15% of the $1.9 TRILLION bill is for actual COVID "stuff". Disgusting. I hit on all of it at 5:30p ET, Wed. 3/10/21. Listen online, or call in at (319)-527-6706!
