This week, Politics and Sports meet head-on. And of course, each does plenty on its own!

In Politics, we have Dopey Joe willing to cut his $3.5 trillion spending package in half. And of course, we know he and Dr. Jill went dining in DC sans masks, in clear violation of DCs mandate.

In Sports, my Iowa Hawkeyes took a hit with a semi-stunning loss to Purdue, dropping them in the rankings, while also allowing Purdue to jump into the rankings.

In PoliSports, Washington Head Football Coach Nick Rolovich has been terminated, but not based on performance. No, he is a victim of that state's mask mandate. Rolovich does plan to take legal action. And in Texas, Gov. Greg Abbott is expected to sign a bill prohibiting transgender females, born as males, from competing in female-designated sports. You can bet that also ends up in court.
