Conservative Casual Friday--New Book Examines Pakistan's Persecuted Christians

Casey J. Chalk, contributing editor at the New Oxford Review, senior contributor for the Federalist, and frequent contributor to the American Conservative and Crisis Magazine, has written a fascinating new book. In The Persecuted: True Stories of Courageous Christians Living Their Faith in Muslim Lands, he relates the compelling stories of Christian refugees from Pakistan whom he met while working in Bangkok, Thailand, in the years after 2014. Drawing upon his extensive prior experience reporting on Afghanistan and Pakistan, he relates the harrowing persecution Christians face in Pakistan, as well as the ordeals they often endure as refugees seeking safe haven in countries like the United States. Chalk will join show host Andrew E. Harrod to discuss what the response should be to global Islamic persecution of Christians, among other matters.
