Making Evil Good - The Cross and the Crescent Discussion Group

One of the most perplexing attacks on our sensibilities is the legitimization of evil as being good only because Muhammad did it.  For example, if I were to say murdering someone is a good thing one would automatically demand some sort of justification for this action if I were to qualify it as “good”.  No one, and I mean no one, on this planet would say that if I was insulted, I had the right to murder another individual for insulting me.  Yet, 1.6 billion people on this planet will defend this, and all kinds of other acts of what everyone classifies as “evil” as an “excellent example to follow”. 

Tuesday we are going to take a look at this example and how following it does not lead one to Jannah, but to jail-ah.  When the God of the Universe tells you that you can and must beat your wife if you fear she is disobedient, don’t do it.  You can and will go to jail for it.  Just ask a certain Imam from Houston is that is true.
