Putting a 9 in Surah 9 - The Cross and the Crescent Discussion Group.

This is a phrase made popular on the self-proclaimed Imam’s show a few weeks ago when he and CI Edwards began speaking about what they would do to our dear brother Danny Davis “if things were different”. They would “most definitely” be going after this father of four with a 9MM.  Their problem is that they are both grotesquely overweight and out of shape.  Danny, well, he is in his prime.  These two bowls of jello in an August sun wouldn’t make it to the first hilltop or second flight of steps before dropping out in their hot pursuit of the kafir with said Springfield XDs in tow.  And it is there, they would learn how shallow their hubris and threats are.  Also, am wondering if one these fellas is even allowed to possess a firearm based on his previous criminal domestic assault record? Perhaps one should be a little more judicious when  threatening kafirs with deadly force on public livestreams?

It has been alleged and often repeated, by repeaters, not readers, that the commands to fight in Surah 9 are only in self-defense or to fight non-Muslim armies who are attacking Muslims. If these Muslims would just take the time to READ, what the Quran and Tasifrs have to say on this topic they would NOT repeat this blatant LIE. 

On the Cross and the Crescent we will examine Surah 9, specifically, verses 1-29 all the while utilizing known Islam-O-Phobic sources like the Quran, Ibn Kathir, and Ibn Abbas.
