The world mourns the death of Queen Elizabeth last Thursday. Still, even with the new king, King Charles III, the UK has problems. They have some back-biting within the royal family, and one pseudo-royal, Meghan Markle, is NOT faring well in her latest media (ad)venture.

Meanwhile, Dopey Joe has all manner of problems. He's still mentally incompetent. He's still a delusional dictator. And, oh yeah, inflation isn't going away any time soon, but he and Big Left think the answer is spending our way out of it. 

In sports, the LIV Tour season will culminate in a finale to be played at Trump National in Doral, FL the last weekend of October. The purse of $50 million will be the largest in golf history. How it will be played is interesting, to say the least. Or most? Elsewhere in sports, college football is fully underway. The B1G/Big Ten took some lumps last Saturday. My Iowa Hawkeyes, despite blocking two punts and intercepting two passes, basically had no offense, and saw their six-game Cy-Hawk winning streak with Iowa State end with a loss. It wasn't pretty. And I'll have one of my Twitter friends on to give his view, a fresh perspective versus what we have been hearing from The Crew. Of course, I'll still have The Crew on, as well!
