It was, supposedly, a "super" weekend. Super Bowl, Super Bowl ads and, if you looked..."up in the sky"...you might have thought you saw SuperMan. Or something. Well, as usual, we got controversy. Controversial call, controversial ads. And as for "up in the sky". Yeah, just a bit of controversy up there, too. I'll cover that, plus a new line of thinking on mass shootings that isn't really new. But, after the shooting on the campus of Michigan State University this week, I think it's high time I resurrected a couple essays on the topic.
