While there isn't a "lot" going on, either in the world of Politics or Sports, there's still plenty to amuse us. Dopey Joe visited Ireland. And took a selfie. With a terrorist. But hey, what's a car bomb amoing friends? And House Speaker Kevin McCarthy wants to rein in government spending on food stamps, including more restrictive qualifications. What are the chances THAT even makes it out of Congress? And a former La Dopey Nostra is NOT going to jail. I know, shocking! In Sports, we had a couple NFL announcements of interest. And a video--a campaign ad, of sorts--from a male swimmer who races against girls. But the video, disgusting as it is, was met with a great response from an actual female swimmer. But, lo and behold, that was response was backed up by a female ESPN reporter/anchor. The question becomes, how much longer will she actually be an ESPN reporter/anchor?
