A few teamshad just one job: win (and you're in). A fraction of THOSE teams, in short, blew it. And figuring out tie-breakers for conference championship games is very difficult, mainly because many teams don't play each other in-season due to 14-, 16-, 18-team conferences, the move away from divisions, etc. I might have a solution! The final regular-season week also featuredarguments between coaches, fights between players (and fans), and at least one guy on X-formerly-known-as-Twitter who went after a beloved Hawkeye fans and got absolutely destroyed.
