After graduating in 2000 with a degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Purusha Rivera became a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer specializing in OB/GYN. It wasn’t long before Purusha discovered a way to create memories that lasted a lifetime for expectant parents, through stuffed animal keepsakes that could record their baby’s heartbeat in utero called My Baby’s Heartbeat Bear. Fast forward to 2018, when Purusha Rivera launched her now multi-million dollar company into the pet space with My Furbaby’s Heartbeat Bear. Each stuffed dog and cat comes with a 20-second recordable device to capture a pet’s heartbeat, purr, meow or bark. Pet groomers all over the country have used these as part of their retail offerings, client appreciation gifts, bereavement and more.
