About Rahiem:

Rahiem, aka “Ra” was born and raised in the Bronx, New York.

He has been a prominent force in the Hip-Hop industry since its inception.

Rahiem started as a member of the pioneering Hip-Hop group The Funky Four & then joining Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five; one of VH1's 2005 Hip Hop Honorees. He has also worked as a staff producer with Teddy Riley’s New Jack Swing productions and then as a staff producer working with Dr Dre.

As a member of Grandmaster Flash & The Furious 5, they were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on March 12, 2007 and was awarded a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award from The Recording Academy in 2021.
