Onc again there are many individuals out there under the impression that receiving a foreign entity number (98) in some way will automatically free them from the system. ANy CPA will tell you that the only reason so many people get away with using certain identifiers in an incorrect way is becuase the IRS is woefully understaffed and unable to audit all of the applicants that receive numbers from them.
