Re-Awakening Minds - Nailah Gilliam w/Najwa Veronique Hawwa El, Poet/Author

Najwa Veronique Hawwa El is a prolific Poet and Spoken Word Artist who uses the gift of writing as a medium for inspiration and education in life's most basic pursuit: that of reflection and understanding. A former Minister-in-training, she combined her love of writing and poetry with the tenets and offices of Christianity under the auspices of "the poets being the near kinsmen of the prophets."  Tonight, we'll discuss Najwa El's recent discovery of what she feels is clear proof that the Moorish History Framework is written in the New Testament Scriptures using the King James and NIV Bible versions.

A commercial truck driver for the past 17 years, she has used that profession as a means of "surveying" the land;" and in so doing, found as one of her poems says, "I am simple woman. I speak of simple things. I dance the dance of reality on the canvas of complex scenes," which has given her a level of knowledge she could not have otherwise obtained, by simply staying in her neck of the woods. Currently contracted and operating "Moor Solutions," a LLC which is part 1 of a 3-phase process, along with Moorish Sisters, Zakiyah El and Fountrice El, who are in the process of reclaiming their true indigenous culture through agriculture, re-education and activism in their local community.
