What's Holding Some African Americans in POVERTY

The conditions that African Americans in poverty are both internal and external in nature The purpose of this show I will define internal as being factors over which you have substantial control. These factors would include your education, your energy, creative ability, contacts, job skills, choice of mate, number of children and your outlook on life.

The external factors are those over which you have very little or no control and would include racism, the interests rates, natural disasters and the like. For the purpose of this show I will only focus on the internal factors.
