A matching grant from the Appalachian Regional Commission made possible “Celebrating Appalachian Communities," a community documentation program in Camp Hill, Ala., and Section, Ala. The year-long project resulted in local documentation through music, graphic arts, videography, photography and local celebrations. The project aimed to foster civic engagement by young people and to strengthen school and community collaboration.
