Genesis 37:2-11 KJV - These are the generations of Jacob ... "BIASED LOVE" The tendency to judge in favor of people and symbols we like is called the bias from liking or loving. We are more likely to ignore faults and comply with wishes of our friends or lovers rather than random strangers. ... In general, this is a good thing, a biasthat adds on balance rather than subtracts.

These are the generations of Jacob. Joseph, being seventeen years old, was feeding the flock with his brethren; and the lad was with the sons of Jacob.
