I AM MORNING GLORY(SABBATH)

God created Adam and Eve and placed them in the garden of Eden. God promised them everlasting life if they would obey his commandment to not eat of the forbidden tree. (Gen. 2:17) However, Adam and Eve disobeyed and God’s justice condemned them and their descendants, the human family, to death. 

God’s justice required a ransom, a perfect human being, to take Adam’s place under this penalty. Jesus, the only begotten son of God, “was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death … that he by the grace of God he could taste death for every man” and become the ransom for Adam. (Heb. 2:9) “For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.” — 1 Cor. 15:22-23 

The blood of Christ represents the life of the man Christ Jesus, sacrificed as a ransom for Adam. “The blood of Jesus Christ his son cleanseth us from all [Adam’s] sin” and enables man to come back into harmony with God. (1 John 1:7)

The blood of Christ is applied now to the followers of Jesus so they can come into harmony with God. The blood of Christ will be applied to Israel and the world in Christ’s kingdom. It will seal the New Covenant. (Matt. 26:28) It will enable all mankind to be resurrected from the grave and recover all the Adam lost – perfection, harmony with God and everlasting life.
