To be sanctified is to be set apart especially to the Lord; the focus is on holiness unto the Lord. Vessel is an instrument used for service. Any individual in the service of the Lord is a vessel. However, there are vessels of honour and vessels of dishonour. Vessels of honour are sanctified vessels. There are vessels that are fit for the master’s use. For God to use you as a vessel, you must be holy (sanctified) and separated from among others. Sanctification is vitally linked to the salvation experience and is concerned with the moral/spiritual obligations assumed in that experience. We are set apart to God in conversion, and we are living out that dedication to God in holiness. You too can be a sanctified vessel unto the Lord. It is possible; make yourself available.
