I'll be interviewing two impressive guests, Dr. Forwood and Lisa Montgomery. Forwood received his doctorate degree from Western States Chiropractic College and developed one of the largest single clinical centers in Delaware during the 1980s. Board Certified in Neurology in 1992, Forwood continued to work with patients with neurological problems. .
Dr. Forwood opened a Brain Balance Center in Wayne, Pennsylvania to help children with neuro-behavioral deficits to improve their academic, social and behavioral functions using a drug-free approach. .
An estimated 1 in 150 American children has some form of autism. Some research suggests autistic kids who get help early can overcome some of their deficits. But the social skills learned as a toddler may not be useful to a teen. .
Dr. Forwood will also discuss tips for parents and the benefits of the Brain Balance Program. .
Listen to Raw Foods expert and author, Lisa Montgomery of the acclaimed book: Raw Inspiration: Living Dynamically with Raw Food. Montgomery teaches people how to heal their entire being (physical, emotional, and psychological) with the raw foods lifestyle. .
She has worked with Olivia Newton John and model Carol Alt. She's board certified as a Holistic Health Care Practitioner from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in Manhattan, NY. .
Montgomery's also a Certified Associate Raw Chef and Instructor from the Living Light Institute of Raw Foods in California. Her keynotes and workshops champion the holistic benefits of fully embracing the raw foods lifestyle. .
"What you put in your mouth and how you live your life are so important," says Montgomery. "A Raw Food diet cleanses the body and nurtures the soul."
