Special Guest: Tamika Washington concentrates her law practice in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties in Pennsylvania. She has a wide range of experience as a family, employment and real estate lawyer. As the owner of a law firm, she provides representation in dependency, child custody, child support, criminal proceedings, and business planning. At the Philadelphia Law Department, Ms. Washington litigated hundreds of child abuse and neglect cases on behalf of the Department of Human Services. She has questioned children and experts in complex issues such as drug abuse, mental health, and physical and sexual abuse of children. After graduation from Temple Law School, she became the associate manager of a law firm, where she represented clients in employment discrimination, real estate, and trusts and estate law. Ms. Washington seeks to enrich her community, as she is involved in a number of organizations, including organizing the Legal Ministry at Sharon Baptist Church in Philadelphia. Ms. Washington is also the Vice President of the National Bar Association Women Lawyers Division, Philadelphia Chapter.
