Self Identify or Self Crucify?

Matthew 16:24  
Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Conversely, Jesus Christ cannot deny Himself. The flesh is at enmity with God. We who are in Christ are to identify in Him, and therefore we are commanded by Jesus to die to flesh / self / worldliness. We cannot do both, live to self and please God /follow Jesus ,at the same time. Every day is a spiritual battle, and we make our choices. It's never too late to make changes and turn back to The Lord in any area where we have drifted away, God's grace is sufficient.
