Join us on the Friday fellowship of learners for Christ on LFC- Words from the Word.  We are taking 30 steps in understanding the invitation to 'Abide in Christ.'  We are on step 7"As your wisdom" I Cor 1:30

Abiding in Christ is a patient expectancy; it is neither wasteful idleness nor anxious striving.  As God kept and enpowered Christ He will do the same for us as we 'abide in HIM'.  "My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him"

(Psalm 62:5). Abiding in Christ, therefore, means to draw supernatural strength from the presence of the Lord and walk moment by moment in the leading of His Spirit.
