Sovereign Self: Independence

As an expression of love independence means that you are One with the Divine, which means in part you are One with humanity. This is the dichotomy of Independence. We are dependent upon each other, yet very much our unique individual selves. Independence means we think for ourselves and do not follow authorities such as religions, governments or corporations blindly. Benjamin Franklin said, "It is the first responsibility of every citizen to question authority." We have been taught to vilify independence because authorities fear they will lose control. Nevertheless, our path to freedom, peace and harmony can only be found in individual independence. Martin, Ron and Karen discuss what it means to be independent and how this contributes to becoming your Sovereign Self.
