My special guest is Aimée Eubanks Davis, CEO of Braven, a national nonprofit she founded in 2013 to help underrepresented college students develop the skills, confidence, experiences, and networks to secure strong first jobs after graduation. To date, Braven has served more than 3,300 college students in Chicago, the Bay Area, Newark, New Jersey, and New York. Aimée started her career as a Teach For America Corps Member in New Orleans teaching 6th grade and transitioned to the Breakthrough national team, holding various roles including Executive Vice President of Public Affairs and Engagement. Aimée is a 2020 Leadership Greater Chicago Fellow and 2019 Obama Foundation Fellow, among others. Aimée's career achievements reflect her innovative and entrepreneurial spirit as well as her transformative initiatives related to diversity and inclusion. Aimée shares her insights on the value of access to education, networking, and mentorship for minority students. Braven prepares underrepresented college graduates for an opportunity to change their lives and accelerate their trajectory. To learn more about Braven go to www.bebraven.org
