Erev Sukkot Fri Sep 29 2023 Tishri 14, 5784It is customary to prepare the "four species" in the sukkah in the afternoon. The holiday begins with candle lighting just before sundown, followed by the Shehecheyanu. Kiddush and Sukkah blessings are recited in the Sukkah.
