Jane Velez-Mitchell covers crimes against people, animals, and the environment.  She is known for speaking up for the voiceless!  The out journalist's newest venture uses new media to spread the word on animal rights, a cause she calls 'the social justice movement of the 21st century.' 

That movement is animal rights, the focus of Velez-Mitchell’s website, JaneUnchained

“I had been talking to animal advocates for a long time, and they were saying we need to become the media for animals,” she says. The “we” she refers to isn’t just Velez-Mitchell and her partner in life and work, Donna Dennison, but fellow activists she encourages to contribute their own news videos. “Anybody with a cell phone camera can be a photojournalist,” she says. 

JaneUnChained.com is getting the word out to people around the world about animal cruelty and how to stop it. These stories are almost completely ignored by mainstream media. We need YOUR help to boost posts and reach more people!  You can change the world for animals.
