Whistleblowers is brought to you in coordination with Marcel Reid and the Whistleblowers Summit taking place annually in Washington D.C..

In 2004, Christina Thundathil   was exposed to burn pits while on duty. The horrendous side effects of burn pit exposure are well known, including multiple types of cancer and lung/pulmonary issues. That same year she was raped while on duty. The VA decided that the rape charge was unfounded and wrote Christina saying “"It doesn't matter now, you need to move on and get over it." Using this as the reason to deny medical benefits, she went without medical treatment for more than two years.

When she asked for increase on the spine, cancer, lung disease the Bureau of Veteran Affairs decreased it saying "Well she is treated for A-FIB so service connection is denied for heart." They went on to say that my SPINE is better.

As a result the health conditions got worse because VA refused treatment.

“I have begged and pleaded with the Department of Veterans Affairs to correct this wrong.

A test was run that shows, "Chronotropic Incompetence" which means my heart won't increase as I push myself.

I have written to Senators Rubio and Senator Scott with no help.

I have reached out to the WHITEHOUSE VA COMPLAINT LINE with NO HELP.

I have reached out to the Whitehouse, no help.

I have exhausted every venue available to me besides driving to these people's houses to ask for help.”
