I MATTER, YOU MATTER, ALL LIVES MATTER.  Wow, what I didn't say was BLACK LIVES MATTER.  Is it because I don't believe it.  No, it's because as a woman of faith, I operate from a place that all lives matter.  The question is, does that change what my eyes see on a daily basis.  I'm not completely sure in what direction this show will go today but, what I do know, is that I have a platform and I want to use it to allow you and me to discuss how all of this is affecting us, our chidren and the next generation.

There has been so much commentary on facebook, the news, the neighborhood, the church, the local gym, the grocery store even the bathrooms while traveling.  Yet, we never really say what we want to say completely. I am hurt by the death of so many of our black men.  I am also hurt by death in america as a whole.  It does not mean that we don't have a problem.  I read a post this morning by a lawyer I attended school with years ago and I want to share it.  I know it will get many opinions but what are we here for if not to use our platforms to allow people to discuss what's on the inside. I could talk about rape, abuse, sex, the inability to be whole etc., but I think it all relates. Join me, Join the conversation. It may be a 15 minute show, it may be an hour show.  However long or short, I just want to share food for thought.  REAL WOMEN-REAL TALK!

"Me God and A Cup Of Coffee" is a show that recognizes that every day must start with a morning conversation with God.
