Comedy Spotlight:: My first guest is James Lawson! He has appeared at the Richmond Funny Bone countless times and has headlined all over the East Coast by hosting and opening for comedic veterans such as John Witherspoon, Michael Blackston, Queen Iesha, Rich Vos and Joe Wrecka to name a few. The inner city style comedy of James Lawson can be compared to no other. A hilarious routine performed by a fresh, but experienced comic is what you get in his show. His raw talent is a “must see”, as he touches topics such as relationships, addictions, family, celebrities, global issues to name a few. Fresh, amusing, and real is this comic’s persona. My second guest is Sister Lemonade! What can I say about Sister Lemonade, she is saved, sanctified and filled with the Holy Ghost. Through her alter ego, Denise Watson-Smith, she discovered many heartaches and pains. She went through many trials and tribulations. Her life was turned upside down when she found herself in trouble and she felt all alone. Not only could she laugh through, it became a ministry. God definitely took a "lemon and made LEMONADE".
