God Comforts Us In Our Troubles - 2 Corinthians 1.

As we, on Moving Forward, study the word of God, we send our prayers to the victims, and families of the victims and shooters, of San Bernardino, CA.   We pray that God gives you strength and comfort during this difficult time.  May the following words of God give you peace. 

2 Corinthians 1:3-4 All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us. 

America!  God is trying to get our attention.  Don't let, "In God We Trust," be a slogan, let it be your belief.  For the word, of God, says for a time like these: 

Proverbs 3:5-7 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. 

2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
