Psalm 4:2, 5, 8 Psalm 2:1, 7-8 Psalm 6:2-3, 8-10 Psalm 1:1-2, 6 Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; Why do the nations rage, And the people plot a vain thing? But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night. How long, O you sons of men, Will you turn my glory to shame? How long will you love worthlessness And seek falsehood? Selah Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I am weak; O Lord, heal me, for my bones are troubled. My soul also is greatly troubled; But You, O Lord—how long? Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, And put your trust in the Lord. For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, But the way of the ungodly shall perish. “I will declare the decree: The Lord has said to Me, ‘You are My Son, Today I have begotten You. Ask of Me, and I will give You The nations for Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth for Your possession. I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety. Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity; For the Lord has heard the voice of my weeping. The Lord has heard my supplication; The Lord will receive my prayer. Let all my enemies be ashamed and greatly troubled; Let them turn back and be ashamed suddenly.
