Psalm 147:1, 3, 5-7, 11-13, 20 Psalm 148:1-5, 7, 13-14 Praise the Lord! For it is good to sing praises to our God; For it is pleasant, and praise is beautiful. Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord from the heavens; Praise Him in the heights! Praise Him, all His angels; Praise Him, all His hosts! He heals the brokenhearted And binds up their wounds. Praise Him, sun and moon; Praise Him, all you stars of light! Praise Him, you heavens of heavens, And you waters above the heavens! Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite. Let them praise the name of the Lord, For He commanded and they were created. The Lord lifts up the humble; He casts the wicked down to the ground. Sing to the Lord with thanksgiving; Sing praises on the harp to our God, Praise the Lord from the earth, You great sea creatures and all the depths; The Lord takes pleasure in those who fear Him, In those who hope in His mercy. Praise the Lord, O Jerusalem! Praise your God, O Zion! For He has strengthened the bars of your gates; He has blessed your children within you. Let them praise the name of the Lord, For His name alone is exalted; His glory is above the earth and heaven. And He has exalted the horn of His people, The praise of all His saints— Of the children of Israel, A people near to Him. Praise the Lord! He has not dealt thus with any nation; And as for His judgments, they have not known them. Praise the Lord!
