Jesus is the Lamb of God - Hebrews 8-9.

But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation. Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance. saying, “This  is  the  blood of the covenant which God has commanded you.” And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission. so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation. But in those sacrifices there is a reminder of sins every year. Therefore, when He came into the world, He said: “Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, But a body You have prepared for Me. By that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God, Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,”  says the Lord. And again, “The  Lord  will judge His people.” “For  yet a little while, And  He  who is coming will come and will not  tarry.
