In today's lesson and scriptures we will discuss the be heading of John The Baptist, the feeding of 5000 and walking on water. Come join me as I move through the word in Matthew 14:1-2, Mark 6:14-29, Luke 3:19-20, Luke 9:7-9, Matthew 14:13-21, Mark 6:30-44 , Luke 9:10-17, John 6:1-15, Matthew 14:22-33, Mark 6:45-52 and John 6:16-21. May The Lord add a blessing to the hearing and reading of His Word.
But when Herod’s birthday was celebrated, the daughter of Herodias danced before them and pleased Herod. Therefore he promised with an oath to give her whatever she might ask. So she, having been prompted by her mother, said, “Give me John the Baptist’s head here on a platter.” And his head was brought on a platter and given to the girl, and she brought it to her mother. When Jesus heard it, He departed from there by boat to a deserted place by Himself. But when the multitudes heard it, they followed Him on foot from the cities. But Jesus said to them, “They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.” And they said to Him, “We have here only five loaves and two fish.” He said, “Bring them here to Me.” Now those who had eaten were about five thousand men, besides women and children. Then those who were in the boat came and worshiped Him, saying, “Truly You are the Son of God.” Matthew 14:6-8,11,13,16-18,21,33 - hNKJV
