Grab your crystal ball, we're looking into the future to share what will be hot as 2015 DIY trends.

So, we've been hearing some mainstream news sources talk about what's going to be hot as 2015 trends, and we're skeptical. If the mason jar and pallet obsession hasn't faded by now, will there be something to knock those longtime favorites off the top spot of choice DIY fixations? What will take the top spots as the 2015 DIY trends?

We're dishing with some of our favorite experts about what they think will be the top 2015 DIY trends. Guests include DIY Network's "I Hate My Yard" host and landscaping expert Sara Bendrick and color expert Kate Smith from Sensational Color.

Sara Bendrick is a landscape designer who started as a DIYer by sewing clothes for her dolls and creating a worm farm. She's the host of DIY Network's "I Hate My Yard,' and has a degree in Landscape Architecture from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

"I feel very fortunate to have a career that can combine artistic expression & environmental awareness with purpose & function," Sara Bendrick.

Kate Smith is a well-recognized expert sought out for her unmatched ability to show her clients how to use color to gain recognition and generate revenue. She is the Chief Color Maven at Sensational Color, a company that provides color knowledge and know-how to corporations in the home industry. Kate is an inspirational keynote speaker and seminar leader, blending color theory and psychology into entertaining and informative talks that bring color to life.

"Long before my desk was covered with Pantone decks and paint chips, my desire to put colors together was satisfied by a big box of still-in-the-wrapper Crayola factory-perfect crayons," Kate Smith
