Today's guest, Kelcie Jackson was introduced to golf at the tender age of six (6) with 2Up Gold Club of Miami. She developed an unending passion for it and brought home her first medal from her first summer camp with the First Tee of Miami in 2007. Through perseverance and encouragement from her family and coaches, Kelcie developed and improved in her skills and began competing in junior tournaments such as Mayor’s Youth Sports Championship Series, USKIDS and Gold Coast Junior Golf Foundation (GCJGF). As a result of her outstanding performance with GCJGF, the Foundation awarded her brand-new McGregor golf clubs and push cart.
From these humble beginnings Kelcie Jackson continues to win. In 2017 she was featured on the front page of the sports section on The Greenville News – “Making The Green A Place For Everyone.” Today, she holds several medals including her latest; a silver medal from her win in the All American competition played at Palmer Colonial Golf Coast, Robina Australia.
