European travel is much different today than it was before the end of the Cold War in 1991. The Soviet Union and its satellite countries did its best to wall off anything Western, so crossing the Iron Curtain was not easy.

But Nidhi Dalmia, son of top Indian industrialist Ramkrishna Dalmia, crossed those borders many times through his family’s business endeavors. Harp is the story of his travels.
