Tonight’s show is called, “Setting Boundaries on Holidays.”

Separately, on this show we have talked about coping with the holidays, about toxic relationships, about relationship expectations and how to cope when they are not mutual enough, about personal space (such as hugging or touching without consent,) about dealing with trauma and loss, and about the guilt, pressure, and calendar chaos surrounding holiday rituals such as gift giving, inclusion & exclusion, and promises & resolutions.

Tonight, we’re going to combine elements of all these topics, to talk specifically about setting and accepting personal boundaries during the holiday season.

Tonight, we will discuss:

1. Boundaries of Regression: Adults coming back home, or to their parents, at holidays
2. General Boundaries at the holidays – guilt, pressure, and chaos.
3. Setting Boundaries for the Holidays after extreme illness, trauma, or loss
4. Conclusions

We'll start off the evening with some topic-relevant Classic Rock played by Dr. Mathis, followed by Classic Rock trivia, in "The Rock & Roll Shrink Recalls," followed by our topic discussion.
