In the kickoff episode of our 11th season, TRAVEL ITCH RADIO heads for sunny South Florida on Thursday, January 6, when our special guest will be JoNell Modys, senior executive of marketing and communication for Visit Lauderdale. In her interview with show creator Dan Schlossberg and co-host Maryellen Nugent Lee, JoNell will talk about the myriad of attractions -- on land and sea -- in "the Venice of America." As 2022 begins, she will also tell listeners what's happening in the cruise industry, which uses Fort Lauderdale as a major port of departure.
