During its 10-month season, Dollywood attracts some three million visitors to its location in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, near Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Its 50 rides and attractions include nine roller-coasters, two water rides, and a full-scale working steam locomotive. The biggest ticketed tourist mecca in Tennessee, Dollywood also has crafts, food, music, and concerts -- some of them starring park owner Dolly Parton, a native of the area. The theme park anchors an amusement destination that also includes Splash Country, the DreamMore Resort and Spa, and the Stampede Dinner Attraction.
